Hi everyone,
Just wanted to chime in to show i'm still alive and hoping to crank out some quality works over this summer.
I just finished my 3rd year now in my biomedical program and things will be getting busy during my fourth year for sure with my honors thesis so i'm hoping to get as much done over the summer as i can.
I have a very special piece i'm working on for my girlfriend that is nearing completion, a legend of zelda piece and i have plans to do a league of legends tryptic which will be a lot of fun hopefully.
I've spent a lot of time practicing sketching over the past few months as well trying to improve my anatomy and facial features. This is a sketch i did for some lovely demacian ladies

Hi everyone who still remembers me!
It's been 4 busy years since my last journal entry finishing up my undergrad degree as well as doing a masters of science with brain tumour imaging, and now that I have more time on my hands I would like to not only start drawing and posting more, but also to start engaging the community more (try to write more journals, have some back and forth with those who still look at this page even, etc).
Part of this effort was to create an Instagram account where I plan to post more frequently when I'm working on project including sketches, various WIP screenshots, and probably a few things more auxiliary to art
Otafest
So it's that time of year again and otafest is coming up for all you calgarians out there. My buddy and I actually managed to get a table this year and i'll be selling 3 prints, he'll be selling a few as well. The previously showcased Spiral Enchantment, as well as a completely redrawn and upgraded version of the jesters dance and a brand new piece of work will all be available in 11x14 on some nice matte photo paper for a cheap 10$!

Hi everyone, it's me again.
I realize that I've been gone for an entire year now and its been 2 years since i've updated my journal but i'm hoping to get some works uploaded within the next 4 months since i am now on summer holidays. I DO have one in progress right now, i've finished and finalized the sketching and will be moving onto the painting process tomorrow, hopefully i'll begin the color blocking phase by tomorrow afternoon.
On a side note, Photoshop CS5 is amazing. I cant' beleive how much adobe improved the brush architecture for us digital CG'ers. The blending is very reminiscient of painter to me but much easier to control. It's

I received a lovely Wacom Intuos 3 9x12 for my christmas present and I have to say its amazing. The surface texture is much nicer compared to my old graphire. The increase of surface size makes it less a strain on your wrist and shoulder by allowing you to do larger movements. Also, because

Hey there. I saw you work and think you're pretty good! Just a question though, why aren't you pursuing art full time? With some improvements here and there in your work, I could easily see you working full time in a studio or getting plenty of gigs freelancing. Why are your pursing medicine when its obvious that your true passion is art?
